Mezzanine Floor Case Study

Warehouse mezzanine floor doubles storage space

Location: Kent, UK

Invicta recently completed a major installation of a 2,100 square meter mezzanine floor in the warehouse of Elgate Products. The project has achieved the goals of the client to nearly double their storage space, establish a staff canteen and provide additional office space without the cost and inconvenience of moving site.

Invicta was chosen to undertake the project as a leading provider of solutions in the UK and Europe, with specialist expertise and a track record in complex and demanding specifications, working to critical deadlines. Invicta's Ceilings and Partitioning division were also involved in this project to help with the creation of canteen facilities and offices with partitioning as well as the installation of a suspended ceiling to fire proof the new structure. In order to make the installation possible, the compliance of Building Control and the fire officer were required. Our sales and design team have over 100 years of combined experience in the design and installation of mezzanine floors. That expertise extends to a complex knowledge of flooring and ancillary requirements, which has benefitted Elgate Products final working environment.

Mr Niel Elliot, Elgate Products Managing Director, has stated "we were delighted to offer Invicta this project, with their knowledge and expertise, they have saved us the costs and inconvenience of moving premises. Invicta performed exceptionally, successfully achieving our requirements for additional storage space, additional office space and a new staff canteen".
