Mezzanine Flooring

Mezzanine Floor

Mezzanine flooring is the term used to describe the installation of an intermediate floor structure between the fixed floors of a building or structure. Mezzanine flooring is the ideal solution to maximise the usable space within a building, and is commonly used for both storage of items and to provide additional working space as offices.

Mezzanine flooring is found between the structural levels of buildings, and due to its steel beam makeup, can be quickly and easily installed as well as dismantled and relocated if necessary.

You can find mezzanine flooring installed in many different locations, including retail stores, shopping malls, airports, railway stations, factories, archive storage facilities and distribution centres.

Mezzanine Floor

Mezzanine flooring is constructed from steel columns and beams which are interlinked together by joists. A decking, usually made from a high density particleboard, is then overlayed over the top of the steel frame.
