Mezzanine floors are manufactured in a variety of materials such as stainless steel, structural steel and cold rolled steel. The location of the mezzanine floor is the determining factor regarding which material will be used in its manufacture. The price of the mezzanine floor will also depend on the material used.

Structural steel mezzanine floors are ideal if you want to have maximum column spacing. They are made with an open web bar joist that makes it easy for water pipes and electrical circuits to pass through. Structural steel mezzanine floors are easy to build and provide more space than other types of additional floor solution.

Cold rolled steel mezzanine floors are made from sheet metal. Due to this they are much lighter than structural steel. The cold rolled steel finish is also superior to structured steel which is best used if you are looking for a more aesthetic option. Although they are light, they can still hold very heavy weights.

Stainless steel mezzanine floors are relatively more expensive than their counterparts. The column spacing with stainless steel mezzanine floors is excellent and this type of floor offers a superior finish which looks aesthetically pleasing.
