Mezzanine floors offer economical usage of floor space when you need more space in your warehouse or factory. These mezzanine floors are made up of latest structural steel, cold rolled steel or stainless steel. These floors provide many different advantages so you can choose one which suits your requirements.

Mezzanine floors are secondary floors that are built within a warehouse. They are not counted as actual floors because they are constructed at a later date than the original construction.

Are you running out of space?

There is no need to move or buy a new warehouse; you only need to install mezzanine floors to expand the space within your existing premises. If there is enough headroom then a mezzanine floor can be constructed to provide you with additional storage, offices and production area.

The construction of mezzanine floors in a warehouse

A warehouse mezzanine floor uses columns to support the floor weight. These columns have base plates which help them to stand upright and then steel beams are then placed on the columns to construct the main framework of these floors.

Suitable flooring is then laid onto these beams and fixed in place, this way the mezzanine floor is constructed quickly. It is worth noting that all mezzanine floors need building regulation approval before construction.
