Saving space for better storage has become a major concern for many industries. Mezzanine flooring is seen as a common alternative to solve these issues. Mezzanine flooring is the right way to go for those who want to increase their storage capacity at warehouses, shops and offices etc. Mezzanine flooring not only increases space but increases productivity, and in turn helps a company to gain better profits.

Mezzanine flooring can be used to build a floor in between two floors with lower ceilings optimising on productivity. A mezzanine staircase is a very popular form of mezzanine flooring. It helps connect two floors or sections such as in huge shopping centres.

Mezzanine flooring alone cannot save as much as space as desired for storing, especially for industries that need buildings just for storage purposes. Other systems have been introduced to solve this issue. Pallet gates are also a very useful form of saving space for storage. They can allow for the optimum use of space for storage of goods. It allows for safe loading and unloading of goods by staff. Pallet racking is based on similar lines but on a much bigger scale in terms of storage. Major industries use pallet racking as a form of storage.

Mobile shelving is another system which can save a lot of space. It is spread out in rows with aisles in such a way that only one aisle can be accessed at any one time, thus making it perfect for storage.
