The different types of mezzanine floors

The use of mezzanine floors within the commercial business industry is on the rise.
There are now several different types of mezzanine floors available to choose from including stainless steel, structural steel and cold rolled steel floors.
Stainless steel mezzanine floors:  These mezzanine floors have very little column spacing and can be more costly to manufacture and buy than the other types.  Stainless steel mezzanine floors are ideal for food processing plants and areas where people require a large amount of space to work.
Cold rolled steel mezzanine floors:  These floors are made from sheet material and are lighter than structural steel. Cold rolled mezzanine floors are often installed in public buildings as they have a smooth finish and attractive appearance. Despite being lightweight, these floors can handle huge loads.
Structural steel mezzanine floors: These floors are best suited for column spacing and are relatively easy to build. Structural steel mezzanine floors are cheap to produce, but are very heavy, so they can’t be installed in all buildings.
Different mezzanine floors offer different benefits, so you should select one that best suits your needs.
